My Creative Space

This week my Creative Space is at my parent's house in East Gippsland. There is a veritable treasure trove of all things crafty! I have been raiding mum's crochet cottons!

I have been playing around with the squares for my cushion. And shock horror...I made the terrible discovery that the second ball of green for my ripple blanket is .....the wrong green! This has put the rippling progress on hold, while I hunt down the correct shade....

More Creativity over at Kootooyoo's place.

p.s don't forget to enter my give-away

  8. Bummer about the green. At least your mum has some good supplies to hold you over.

  10. Don't you hate that! And also, when you have done one row near the start and intend to do another in the same colour, but only have enough to do half a row... then you can't find that colour again... so then you have to unravel that half a row... so there is one colour in your ripple blanket that only makes one appearance. That is really annoying too.... I hope you find that green!

Love your washers too. I need to make some of those as well. Adding it to the mental list right now. :)

  12. Just as you are never too old to have a trantrum at the show, you are never too old to raid your mother's cupboards looking for good stuff!
