Things that are making me happy

1 Winning the entire set of Motex Tapes from Lark's Pinterest Competition. They have come in very handy in my present situation!

2-5 Mail from a beautiful part of the World, as part of the 4 Happy Things Swap

6-7 Pretty things for my new kitchen (it appears that the tiles are here to stay at least for the time being, so these will hopefully detract attention from them)

8 Saying goodbye to these  handles in my old kitchen - they have this amazing knack of always catching my pockets as I go past. The new handles will be simple and catch-free.

9-10 Lots of packed boxes and empty cupboards

11 A new home for this little fellow.

Hooray! The hard work is done. The new carpet has been layed in the good room, the Big Girl's room (goodbye fake tan and black eye-shadow stains) and the study (goodbye craft room). One room is re-painted (guess who's?), the tiles are sparkling and the rest of the carpet cleaned up beautifully. Now bring on the buyers.

We can sense that this chapter in our lives is just about finished.

 

In the meantime, I shall enjoy a clean and clutter free home.

Now finally, I can put my foot up and concentrate on my recovery!

I just received this glorious parcel in the mail from Wendy. She makes the most beautiful wrap dresses that she sells in her Etsy Shop, The Textured Leaf Shop. She uses beautiful linens and doileys in her beautiful creations.

I was so lucky to win her Custom Wrap dress giveaway on her blog, The Textured Leaf. How fortunate to receive it now, when there are so many parties and functions to attend at this time of the year.
