It may well be the Race that stops a Nation, but for me it's a day that stops the mundane. A day to not go to work, to enjoy delicious food and the company of family and good friends. A chance to have a flutter on a race or two, to laugh and talk, and not have to be anywhere but home. Really, it's a perfect time to stop and just relax. Oh and a good dose of sunshine never goes astray!
