hehe i would have been so jealous!! i always wanted a perm but my mum wouldnt let me : ) i was pretty young in the 80's so mum was probably right. i love this pic so much though, the two chairs in the back, the flowers, the streamer and the pink and blues of the dresses - fantastic. thanks for sharing x
Yep, I had one of those perms too. And a white taffeta dress. I thought I was HOT! Now looking back on those photos I think I was HIDEOUS! What a scream.
Looking gooood!!? The closest I got to it as wearing my sister's sky blue waterwave taffeta with leg o'mutton sleeves. Boohoo...You look a vision of 80'sness.

Aaahhh tafeta! Those were the days...tafeta & perms, that was me! My Mum made some very fru fru dresses for me to wear to those formals...
