I have had a difficult week, both full of challenge and promise.
From this.....

to this!
Now this unwanted, unloved , dare I say UGLY blanket, can find a new useful, pretty purpose in life! I am almost well and ready to start being creative again....stay tuned.
I look forward to seeing what you do with all those pretty colours...love the basket too.
ReplyDeleteYikes I hope things have quieted down on the infirmary front!!! It will be fun to see what projects arise from one under loved blanket!! :)The ugly duckling lives!!!

I like that there is promise with those challenges, it makes them more bearable doesn't it. Good on you for unravelling it and giving it a new life, all those balls of wool look so inviting now. :)
ReplyDeleteI too am looking forward to seeing what you make with all that wool. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've had a challenging time of late.
ReplyDeleteHowever I'm super keen to see what you are going to do with such pretty yarn.
My guy is ready to come to you. He's very keen to be in his real home so send me your address. xo
'Challenge and promise' - it's good when the two go hand in hand. Your frogged balls of yarn are quite symbolic of the same - although hopefully now the challenge has passed and it's just the promise that remains!
ReplyDeleteHope your week is improving! Love the colours in that wool, can't wait to see what you come up with :)
ReplyDeleteaahh the challenges... they are good for us right?!
ReplyDeletethats a really nice muted palette of colours you from the blanked you unpicked - i look forward to seeing what becomes of if.
