I finished the cushion, and decided to leave the edge plain - it was a little too much! Thanks for everyone's comments in helping me to decide!
Now I just need to finish the ripple......

    Fabulous cushion back and front! We are at the beach on a little holiday for a few days and 7th Heaven came on tv this afternoon and I thought of you. X
