My Place and Yours - Shoes

new school shoes waiting by the door, black and shiny and full of promise

My current favourite pair, gold leather and all!
I call them my "Trainer shoes" as I wore them to my first session as a Workplace Trainer. Which reminds me, my course resumes on Tuesday and my lovely new, super dooper printer did a sterling job of printing my homework, even with many discarded pairs of shoes under the desk, a la Curly Pops!
Now why is that whilst I may have many pairs of shoes, I just never seem to have the right pair at the right time?

Head over to Vic's to get the low down on shoes of all manner!

  1. I have that same problem. I have to search the house to actually find the pair that I want to wear!

  2. Thanks for posting school shoes, I love them! My daughter has just given up school shoes in favour of (more supportive for her poor little turned in feet) runners with laces. I miss shiny black school shoes. Love the gold leather, don't think I'd be game enough to wear them though!

  3. I miss shiny school shoes too! None of my children go to schools that wear them now, but they are a sign of the new school year aren't they!!

  4. School shoes. I had some of those granny ones but in brown. & they lasted me from the middle of grade 6 to the end of grade 10! How's that for efficient. I just don't wear shoes out! Very boring!

  6. My husband has no idea about shoes. He can't understand why I have so many and yet he hasn't. Well, golf shoes, thongs, sneakers and one pair of good leather shoes may work for him, but every girl needs flats, strappy, high, mid etc. shoes to go with different outfits. Right? Right? If you could just back me up on that next time hubby asks me about it...

  8. I'm with you. It seems there's a two year old dress up craze at the moment. While I can usually find one shoe at the right time, things never seem to quite work out!
