These are some items that I got from my Grandmother's home yesterday. It was her 93rd birthday and she has recently moved into a retirement home. There are: some linens (the others are still on the clothesline) some letters my Dad wrote as a young child, a photo of my brother and I, a brass candlestick (pair), lily of the valley glasses (4), a glass footed bowl and a wooden board. I also got some of her costume jewellery and a little wooden cabinet that I plan to strip back and paint. It felt very strange going through her things I must say.

On My Desk
