I pulled up the blind this morning to let some more light into my power deprived home and discovered that my orchid, after only 5 years has decided that it would actually like to grow me some flowers. Hooray!

Oooh, I ran straight over to your give away and ran back here again! How could have missed it?! Must have been when my computer died. I forgot to write that I am a follower too.
ReplyDeleteMy mother in law brought me an potted orchid like this when Cohen was born. She brought it to the hospital and said she thought we would prefer a gift that we could keep for many years. I nodded and smiled, but inside I was freaking out that I would kill said orchid in a week. Well, eight months later and it is still alive. I might get it to survive years and years yet! :)
