A lovely day was had!

Started the morning with a walk and a dear friend to catch up with. Followed this by going to PIPS craft group and met fellow blogger Melanie.
Had the most delicious chai from the Homestead Cafe and then popped into a local opshop where I found a few goodies including a wool skirt, a large piece of denim, a lovely old pattern for nightdressses and brunch coats and some old wooden s&p's complete with ancient peppercorns! I picked up some surprises for the Polka Dot Swap in a little gift shop. Now I have a pot of pumpkin soup simmering on the stove, and fresh sheets to put on the bed. Life is good.
