Autumn tunic - made by me, on a whim this afternoon using furnishing samples. The fact that I can sew sure makes me happy! The fact that I can wear a new top tomorrow makes me happy. The fact that I created this myself (for no cash) makes me very happy.The fine print - adapted the dress pattern I used for my Sound Of Music costume. I didn't have enough of the main fabric to sew a dress! I used the left over binding and interfacing from the costume and used some wooden buttons recycled from a cardigan. I pieced the samples to create the sleeves and bodice. I poached the pocket pattern from the top pattern I have. I think I may be addicted!
