More and more lately, Mr M and I have been finding ourselves home, with just the two of us. Our daughters are growing up and busy with work/study/sport/dance/friends. So...... we have enjoyed coffee and cake, dinner, movies and even the afore mentioned trip to the Gold Coast. It's a whole new game, parenting with busy children. It's a good thing that we enjoy each other's company...... most of the time!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean...we had to extend our house to accommodate the children, and I can't believe that 12 years later we sometimes find ourselves rattling around this house till all the 'chickies' return home after their classes, parties or sports etc! As you say, just as well we get on...and both have hobbies (his is photography...you know mine!) to have some separate time too!
