MMMMM. Quite possibly the yummest brownies ever!
TOBLERONE BROWNIES
Melt 200gms butter with 200gm milk toblerone chocolate (decadent isn't it?)
Use electic beaters to beat 3 eggs and 1 cup of brown sugar for 3 minutes. Add the choc mixture and beat until combined.
Sift 1/2 cup SR flour, 1/4 cup plain flour and 1/4 cup cocoa over the bowl, and fold in.
Pour into a greased and lined slice pan and bake at 170 for 30 minutes. Allow to set for several hours before cutting into squares. (Torturous, I agree!)
Sift icing sugar over hearts cut from baking paper if you are feeling fancy, or romantic.
Otherwise eat immediately. I know you don't want to hear this, but they actually taste better the next day!
Note: The recipe is adapted slightly from an old Coles magazine. From memory the original contained toasted almonds and dark toblerone.
