housecoat [ˈhaʊsˌkəʊt]

n.
A woman's garment, usually long and loose, used for informal wear at home

brunchcoat: a woman's short housecoat

whatever you want to call it, I think it is fabulous. Purchased at the San Remo op shop for $1, yellow wooden beads, 50 cents.

  1. my mum lives in a housecoat in the summer. As soon as she gets in from work, on it goes! I have a similar thing in a nightie type dress thingy, perfect..

  3. I'll admit to having a brunchcoat (which is incidentally is never worn at brunch ... especially as we usually eat brunch at a cafe). I love your find!
