Cool past times

I have been taking advantage of the cooler weather to enjoy some knitting and some baking (choc chip oaty bikkies and jam drops). I have frozen half of each batch to hopefully keep for the school lunches. Lets see how that goes, shall we!
Yesterday afternoon I cleaned the house from top to bottom and last night lit a ton of candles and knitted while the ballerina and I watched the Secret Garden (badly taped from TV in the 90's!) Mr M and the teen had gone off to the tennis, in the wind and rain!

  1. This sounds like a pleasant way to spend some time...I really need to get organised, clean out cupboards, get school things in order, and do some baking - good for you!

  2. Is it hard to knit a sweater like that? I only knew one type, but not this type..
Feeling kind of hard to knit one..
Love to see the finished work.
    Have a nice day.

  3. Nothing like a clean house, except that it gets messy to quickly! Hmmmm, jam drops. I have tried the freezing the bickies thing too, but they seemed to be eaten just as quickly! Loving the sweater. :)

  4. I made Jam drops too, did you see them on Frazzle Dazzles? Great recipe and so easy, mine lasted 2 days with the kids.

  5. We love "dam pops"! We make them from mum's 1953 cook book. We also have problems freezing them as hubby has found out that they are edible frozen. Happy anniversary!
