A Fresh Collection

Breakfast at a fancy new cafe with excellent company
Flowers (from my garden) for my Mum recovering from knee surgery ( I may have forgotten to pick up the flowers I ordered from the florist)
Beautiful colours in the garden, and the promise of Spring
New boots for work - now my feet are warm and dry
Bright 'new to me' place mats certainly cheer up the dinner table
Finished knitting these fingerless mitts, so now onto the lovely red crochet ones from my Winter Yarn Club (better be quick before the next package arrives)

A pom pom flower I made for The Colour SwapI really think I need one too.

Loving a long drive way when the door-knockers are about
More night walking, this time along the road leading in to town. It's definitely a bit better lit.

A Warm Pink Hug

Thank you so much to the lovely Miriam from Create Hope Inspire  for not only my gorgeous parcel, but also for organising the A Little Bit Of Wonderful Colour Swap. I feel well and truly spoiled.
I am just putting the finishing touches on the goodies for my swap recipient. It is a bit funny that there are a few  similarities in what I have collected and what I have received! Now I just need to clear off my desk so that I can access the sewing machine to get started on a little project that has been floating about in my mind all week.
I'm looking forward to having a good look through this magazine tonight, with a cuppa and a chocolate......if there are any left!

Dish Cloth Swap

My 4 dishcloths are all finished and winging their way to Tasmania  to One Crafty Mumma (in an express post package). But I have to wonder why I always leave everything to the last minute. I finished these ones off at the start of the month, (except for finishing off the ends on the pink one)  but I didn't get around to attaching tags or posting them. Like always I seem to have a mad rush of activity and achieve lots and then it all just seems to fall to the wayside. I  actually made 8 different ones. I liked them all, I really did. Or did I think I was going to make better ones? Or was I just suffering from a lack of decisiveness? Or most likely is it just my addictive personality?

Do you suffer from an addictive personality? Do tell!

Now I really must get off the computer and get onto my Kindergarten transition reports....anyone say last minute? AGAIN?

The Happy Collection

Things that are making me happy

1 Winning the entire set of Motex Tapes from Lark's Pinterest Competition. They have come in very handy in my present situation!

2-5 Mail from a beautiful part of the World, as part of the 4 Happy Things Swap

6-7 Pretty things for my new kitchen (it appears that the tiles are here to stay at least for the time being, so these will hopefully detract attention from them)

8 Saying goodbye to these  handles in my old kitchen - they have this amazing knack of always catching my pockets as I go past. The new handles will be simple and catch-free.

9-10 Lots of packed boxes and empty cupboards

11 A new home for this little fellow.
