Emerging Artists

Every second Friday I teach at a local Homeschool Activity Day. This Term the 9-11 year olds have been working on still life drawing and painting. I wanted to share some images of their work from their last session of the Term (Last Friday) as I fortunately remembered to take my camera along.

I have been at work. I have been to the supermarket. I am writing lesson plans.

My Creative Space

Today I'd better get a wriggle on and finish the Felt Advent Calendar seeing as tomorrow is the last class and the girls would probably like to know what they are actually making! I will be working at my computer desk, so I can stitch and study. Mutli tasking is the way to go!

I am going to put together a tutorial - most likely in time for next Christmas!

Ace Friday

Here are the amazing maps the kids made at the Home School activity day. We used a laminated outline map and 4 different colours of playdough. I then took photos to paste in their scrapbooks.

I picked up a Chai Latte on the way home and then the postie delievered this gorgeous fabric to me. Can't wait to make that passport thingo now. Oh and another pouch too - I found another zip in my stash. Amazing what cleaning and tidying can reveal.
